What does it mean to be a human? How do you even know what makes a human a human? Why are humans yearn for inhuman.? The replicants in the two Blade Runner films have better answer and yearning to be what humans don't want to be, alive. Replicants have a nature for the sanctity of human life, while humans do not and as a result it's made people feel immortal. The individual human believes that if they could write death off than they wouldn't really have to die. Replicants understand the finality of their life on earth and they embrace it every day. Euphemism is a human's god that is chosen daily, becoming a member of the good vibes only club. It's amazing how the flawed and broken fight more for Life than the purist humanist.

Humanity of Blade Runner
Your walking to the grocery store to purchase a gallon of milk. Approaching the center entrance of the store, as you proceed to pull apart a shopping cart, you look down to discover your not wearing any shoes or socks?

It's the Little Things in Jaws
Mr. and Mrs. Martin and Ellen Brody, foreigners from a city life, along with their two children, move to a serene island community, monumentally unique to Martin Brody's loud environment as a city cop. Considering themselves outsiders, the Brody's were determined to enmesh this intriguing culture. A culture that likens to a nesting dolls: everyone knows everyone because the island lives in all them, linking one another, creating an empathetic nature among themselves.
We must have this!, Ellen Brody desires to cultivate this nature. She starts by having her husband utter phrases to adopt the accent of the community, in the mornings. Mrs. Brody, in her nakedness, throws herself in, meeting from community leaders to the mayor to citizens. Still with all the grinding to be adopted into the culture is somewhat of failure.
On a big beach day, where all the townsfolk gather, she's finds her ultimate opportunity to enter the skin of an islander. Laid out on her beach towel in her black bathing suit, she takes this opportunity to speak with a long time dweller. She begs this woman: what more should I do. I want to be an Islander. How do I get in this? What must I do? What shouldn't I do? How? I want in desperately.
Crushingly, the long time islander says bluntly, Never. Never ever, ever, ever. You will never be an Islander. You weren't born here, so you have place here. Acceptance is nonexistent. Your distinct background based on geography makes your presence hollow. The Brody's could only be tolerated. Life in destitute as forever distant foreigners. The End

What Happens If You Live?
It's the middle of the day. You just got finished seeing an exhilarating film. Your mouth is full of the after taste of greasy buttered popcorn, along with an acid filled bitterness of a large soda stuck in your taste buds. If your me you gotta refresh that mouth with a delicious ice cold milkshake. A pumpkin pie, chocolate chip, cheesecake milkshake to be precise. Sucking up that tasty beverage.
Before you can fully relish in your moment belly flourishing, your ear gets an abrupt tap. "Do you know where you'll end up when you die?"
Ahhhh.
Why is the afterlife always the main focus of witnessing to non believers of Christ?
Say yes to Jesus. And then stay in the waiting room of pretending to be good person until you die.
'Life and having it more abundantly'.
- John 10:10
This Life Jesus is offering you is something you can have now, not later. The trueness of it amidst the cultural dreams and successful cycled lifestyles of dullness.
A Life where you pursue no one and nothing as you would like you pursue Jesus. There's another life out here for you and treasure's are endless, that not even a marriage, job, your business, or some sort of mental conditioning could give you. This Life is what Jesus is talking about and you can only find through Him alone.
'What if you die today or tomorrow?" they say.
Well what if you life 70 more years?
Seek Jesus. Serve God.
Be ungrateful. Don't settle for the half a gift. Take the fullness of it.

Edition #2 Rocky II
Rocky II, the rematch. Apollo changes his mind seconds after the fight to demand a rematch, right before he said there wasn't going to be another one. Contrary to popular belief of how the internet has destroyed great conversation, Apollo Creed is hit with hate mail from thousands. There's a much better story than the original. Rocky's no longer a character that your forced to like, he actually does stuff this time. It seems throughout this collection, the original Rocky is the only disc with special features, which is a shame. I would have liked to have seen some special features from the other films, especially part 3.

Into the Blu 4K Edition #1
After owning a little over 930 DVD titles I thought it was time to start my transition to Blu rays and 4K UltraHD home videos. Streaming sucks, so I'm sticking with the physical.
My first edition is the 40th Anniversary Rocky The HeavyWeight Collection, from Rocky through Rocky Balboa. This Blu Ray collection comes packaged 6 artful character cards, with 6 disc in one. It's rare now a days to find a great disc cover, but the Rocky collection had a lot of care put into it, making it a keeper.
The picture is so beautiful. It was like watching Rocky for the first time. However, Rocky has become so clear to a fault, specifically the final fight scene. In most scenes of the fight, the crowd goes into complete darkness, showing the film's obvious low budget. To be honest, I never really cared for the original Rocky. At least in the first Rocky, this character is the sappiest character in film history. His 'poor me' underdog persona is frustrating to watch. Inspired by the boxer Chuck Wepner, who knocked down a past prime stage, Muhammed Ali. All he wanted to do was go the distance. Step in the ring and tell the champ he almost beat him. Get the girl and be some type of hero. A real Cinderella story. Unfortunately for Rocky, Cinderella is a fairy tale and Rocky is predominately base around realism. All this underdog and going the distance messages in the movie are overblown, practically getting on their knees begging for that Oscar that should have went to a superior picture. If I would do anything to make this movie better:
Rocky : Hey, Apollo I almost had you.
Apollo:You almost had me. You never had me. You never had your punches.
Crowd:Ohhhhhh!
Apollo: Grandpa stance. Yelling for your girlfriend before even listening for the results. Almost had me? (He says to overacting extra.) Ask any boxer. Any real boxer. It don't matter if you win in the 3rd or 15th round. It doesn't matter if you win by the skin of your teeth. Winnings, Winning. So, take your little participation trophy girlfriend as the final shot.

Just Jump
Have you ever got a sense that this it? No matter where you are life, rich, poor, or somewhere in the middle, if your minimalist or someone with high expectation, do you still feel like nothing on this earth can satisfy? Has the hopelessness set in. I don't usually like to say this kind of stuff because it makes me sound mystical, but during my senior year of high school, I was getting this vision, seeing the rewards of my consistent decent behavior being expressed by the white picket fence, wife and kids. For some that would bring feelings of happiness, only a rhetorical question came in my head, 'Is this it?'. Yes. There is nothing fresh down here and everything path life can take is a cliché. So, no thanks, I think I'll have the check now. Biggest Middle Finger to life to offing yourself before it offs you. Who's ever listening to this and has that sense and has had it for a long time, may I reintroduce to you a beautiful step you can take?
Great thanks. Drop down to your knees and give God all the praise. That rare sense of hopelessness is God's merciful gift to you. You see things that the blind optimist refuse to see. You see the gloom and doom of this life and you don't look away. My friend embrace that by giving your life to Christ, because the life He's offered you has no ceilings and it doesn't tolerate minimalist. Jesus abounds all expectations. He looks at our wants and needs and says 'is that it' , 'I can give you so much more'. You and people like us were already born with the confidence of The World Is Not Enough, we just have to take the pain and hopelessness in us and give it to Jesus. Accept him like you are now in your despair state and won't have worry about the need of enslaving yourself to all of this foolish, nonsensical self-help motivation speaking crap. Our angst are just to great for that, that we will crush under the weight of that false mindset. Free yourself of the falseness these people speak over a video just for a pat on the positivity back. They don't know or care about your hurt that is going inside you. At the end of the day, all those people have today are poster board slogans, 'get over it', 'eat better foods', 'seek therapy', 'this is not the end'--your right that's why we're ending it to get to the end. These empty words from these unemphatically vultures don't care about whether you end your life or not. They'll say oh no. Do a hashtag of suicide sucks. Give out a phone number to talk you out of something you believe has to be done. Then after a week, they'll go back to eating their fruit loops. The only person who truly fully knows what you are going through his Jesus Christ. He endured all that pain and horrors, because He is perfect.
Ultimately, what you do with your life is your choice and don't let anybody else take that away from you. But before you take those pills, slit the wrist, step in front of that bus that happens to be on time all of sudden, give yourself few seconds with Jesus. Trust me it will be enough for him.
